Clinging On the edge.

On 15th march 2009, I went to Ayer Keroh recreation park. I went rock climbing and kayaking. It had been long time from the last time i went rock climbing and kayaking. I remember the first time I rock climb was when I went to genting highlands when I was form 4 and that was my first rock climbing. Well, I did quite well that time(I think) I did manage to climb to the highest but this time I went halfway =(. May be it was an large amount of weight was put in me, heh. It was trilling, why? cause your fingers will burn and your arm will cramp? Nah! its when you know you’ll fall, sudden adrenalin in you pump in and make you think you need to cling on else you’ll fall and guy’s ego usually pumps in too when their girls are around ;). But for me, it is how to test myself to the limits. And I get to Cling on 3/4 on the total course. The feeling of your arms can’t handle the pain and your fingers hurting really sucks, but you still need to hold on and even try to climb to the top. It is at this moment the question if you were to drop who’s going to catch you? its the safety rope that was cling on your harnesses that was attached to your waist. The picture below was a picture I took when I was at Macau Tower.

The question that leads to my mind is “ Why live on the edge when you can jump off?” This question really makes me thought of why don’t I take the risk of trying than keep staying in my comfort zone. And it leads me to that question “who going to catch you if you falls?” just now.
Well what I’m trying to say is as we are climbing up the rocks we are taking the risk of falling but when we fall there will be a rope that stop us from falling and keep us safe. Who will be the rope that keeps you from falling? money? friends? your boy or girl friends? or your parents? or God ?
